Pinewood Derby at age 17

I guess you're never too young to participate in a pinewood derby. Juston sure enoyed it. They planned it as a laurel/priest activity. Some people just used old derby cars (or Juston's old derby cars) but Juston made a new one.


Juston came upstairs from making and sanding his car saying that he was going gray a little early. You should see Ron's workshop.


But the end result was worth the gray hair.


Let's just say that this little guy won all the winners AFTER the derby was over. In his first race, another car skipped the tracks and slowed him down and put him in the losing bracket. But hey, it's just for fun. He comes up with some great ideas for priest/laurel activities.
