Rock Town

When the Mays were here we went to Rock Town but the boys weren't here yet...so we had to go again. A mere 2 hour drive each direction. If it were a little closer we would go more often because it was so much fun. We spent 4 hours here this time. We all loved it! We just kept exploring!

This picture was taken at the beginning and then they spread into many directions trying to find more ways to scale these rocks.


We finally got them all back together for another pic.


When Ron and Juston discovered this crevice the decision was made NOT to climb down into it for fear of not getting back up. Keep in mind that I'm using a camera lens that brought them much closer in view. Ah, but Juston could not be detoured. He was sure he could do it. Soon everybody was checking all the angles and poked down a very long branch to see how deep it went. We all climbed UNDER the rocks checking out the possibilities. They figured if they couldn't climb out then they would wade through the water below for their escape (it was very cold - more pics coming)


This hole is high up in a rock - they had to climb to get into it. Nice and cozy.
