Beautiful Quilts for Out-going Stake Presidency

Ron was released from the stake presidency in October 2015

 after 13 years of service in 2 stake presidencies.  

He served as 2nd counselor to  Pres. Keith Giddens and when the 

Cartersville Stake was formed and Pres. Giddens became pres. of that stake, 

Ron became the 1st counselor to Pres. Tom Owen

of the Powder Springs, GA Stake.

Upon their release the new stake president, Jon Anderson,

asked the stake RS president, Geralynn West

to make 3 quilts for the out-going stake presidency.

Geralynn enlisted the help of many sisters and made

these beautiful quilts.

The old stake presidency and their wives (minus Heidi in CO)

were all having dinner at our home

when they showed up to present the quilts!

Tom Owen, Ron Cheney and Dean Clark were totally surprised!

There is a square from each of the 9 units in our stake!

Soooooooo thoughtful and much aprpeciated!
