Jerry and KayLynn Todd came for a visit and we timed it so we could go to the Atlanta Temple Open House. We had a few fun-filled days together.
Kennessaw Mountain is a civil war site. We drove to this point and then hiked to the top, reserving our energy for the next hike.
This is at the top of Stone Mountain - this one we hiked!
It was a beautiful day. We've hiked this probably a dozen times and I've never seen it so crowded.
At the Atlanta Temple Open House
We enjoyed a relaxing tour through the temple - it is beautiful!!!!!
It will be rededicated on May 1st and it reopens on May 3rd.
Jerry and KayLynn - at the back of the temple
Karie and Ron - at the back of the temple
Henry's Louisiana Grill has great food!
It was our first time to try it - it's quite well-known.
We also went to BBQ Street - it's always good.
Jerry and Ron throwing rocks at Allatoona Lake.
Now this hike was practically private.
KayLynn snapped a shot of Ron and I hiking through Allatoona Pass, another civil war site, the railroad used to go through here.
KayLynn and Karie at the tower at Fort Mountain.
We missed Jerry, he had to fly back to work.
Ron and Karie - Fort Mountain
Now we're just awaiting the arrival of our 5th grandbaby, any day now!
