So here is the dude on Christmas day - very happy and very surprised that he got his own guitar. Isn't it fun when you have no idea what's coming and you REALLY like it!

Christmas morning. You can see by the light outside that we slept in big time!

There were very few presents under the tree but it was a fabulous Christmas! Obviously, material gifts are NOT what makes us happy. In fact, we spent quite a bit of time reading our gifts of service to each other and we LOVED it! It was a great idea Karon and I hope we continue it in some form or fashion every year!!!!!!!!1

The Friedrich's also went to the Wallace's for Christmas biscuits and gravy.

The Wallace's claim Juston as their own. Jessica was away at her in-laws and this was the first Christmas the Wallace's had without her. The food was soooooooo good! The Woods were there too but they left before I pulled my camera out.

My guys on Christmas (at the Wallace's) - they make me happy!
Talking with Michael in Hungary was a bit of a fiasco. He was supposed to call at 10:00 and by 11:45 we still hadn't heard from him. Boo-hoo! So I checked my email and I had just received one from him that said their cell phone service didn't take off the block so all the missionaries could call out on Christmas Day. He gave us his number so we called him and we talked for a few minutes - we'll talk again on New Year's Day. MICHAEL IS SOOOOOOOO HAPPY and that makes us happy for him!
Sunday night the Stroud's stayed at our house on their way from Florida to Kentucky. It was soooooooo good to see them - it's been several years. When they lived here, Juston and Jared were inseperable best buds!!!

Alice, Hayley and Jared Stroud. I still can't figure out how Hayley got to be 5' 10". She's a Jr in college this year and Jared heads off for college in the fall. Br. Stroud had been dropped off at the airport so we didn't get to see him! Maybe another time! Ben is in Valdosta at Ft. Moody for the Air Force - they had dropped him off too. It was a GREAT visit!
