My Birthday Girl in Jamaica - LORIE ANN

I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner... writing about my children on their birthdays. Here's the 1st one!

Happy 22nd Birthday LORIE ANN!

This will be your never to be forgotten birthday celebration in Jamaica! I know Mason will treat you wonderfully! We love you guys!

Here's a few highlights from Lorie Ann's birth and life...

• It was a Thursday and the next day was Friday the 13th (hum, sounds like this year). She was due on Valentine's day. After dinner we were watching the "Cosby Show" and he was delivering a baby. Ha, I started into labor and thought she would be born on Friday the 13th but alas, she was anxious to come and was born at 11:20 that night! 7 pounds, 8 ounces. My water never broke and she was born inside the sac. The nurse kept telling me that this was the most wonderfuly delivery she had ever witnessed and that this little girl was an angel! She was right about the "angel" part and all my deliveries were wonderful!
• Karon had just turned 4 and Bryon was 15 months - we'd been in GA for 5 months.
• We were living in Roswell, GA. When she was 5 months old we moved to Marietta, GA and when she was 6 we moved into this house in Acworth, GA. She's our GEORGIA GIRL!
• Lorie Ann... is kind, a deep thinker, smart, a superb writer, an excellent student, loves to help, is obedient, a beautiful singer, a great pianist, a true friend, loves adventure, extremely honest, deeply spiritual, true to God, and she's beautiful inside and out!
