Date with Audrie

Sweet Audrie asked for her own special day with Grandma and Grandpa

and so we thought about what we could do.

She had received an American Girl doll for Christmas 

so we went to the American Girl store.

We went to pick her up at her house and she was all dressed adorably.

I don't think she really cared where we went  - she just wanted to be with us, just her.

We  asked her if she wanted to know where we were going.

She said  "no."

Of course she was quite delighted when we got there

and picked out a purse for her doll.

And we got a cookie at the mall.

And this is the only way you would get Grandpa in the store!
