Angel's Landing

Ron and I stayed one extra day at Zion's so we could hike Angel's Landing

(After an nice evening with Darrin and his family).

It was a biggy!

The view from the top was gorgeous!

Along the trail...

We paced ourselves.  It took 5 hours to do these 5 miles (round trip).

There were long switch-backs and then these short ones.  

The person who created this trail did an amazing job.

On top

We weren't the only ones on top!  I was sitting atop a rock to get this picture!

Next time we will bring gloves to protect our hands  -

at the end you have to use the chains to pull yourself up.

At some spots there are drop offs on both sides.

We had purchased and worn-in new hiking boots - so very helpful!
