Fort McHenry was my favorite place to visit!
Too bad I didn't get one picture of me there.
Fort McHenry is where
The Star Spangled Banner
was penned.
America fought off the British navy here
in a battle that went on during the night
during the War of 1812.
It took place September 13-14, 1814,
100 years ago!
God Bless America!

I felt such patriotism here.
After watching the presentation and seeing that flag waving in the distance...
well, it was inspiring!!!!!
And then we headed to downtown Baltimore for lunch and a walk...
King was promised a boat ride
and that promise was kept!
