Yes, it's true - Michael came home - only for a short visit. He'll be with us for 11 days total and we love having him here! He's been on a few bike rides on the Silver Comet Trail. Karie was with them on the bike ride this morning. When Ron and Michael go alone, they go a bit farther.
What bike is Michael using you may ask - belongs to Brian Fraser - considerably nicer and lighter than our 30 year old Schwinn's.
The little storm last night resulted in lots of small twigs and branches landing on the trail. As Ron passed one larger one, he swept it out of the way with his foot, clearing the path for me. Somehow it bounced back and broke one of his spokes. Being the gentleman that he is, he now has to fix his bike.
Update: Michael was only home for about 6 days after his mission. Then he's been at BYU for 2 1/2 semesters (was home for Christmas with us all). He won't be coming home this Christmas because Ron and I are going out there! He doesn't start school again until the fall, but he has a job in Provo. So he came home for a visit. There are so many things he loves about this area and it's fun to listen to him. Did you know the clouds here are awesome? And he loves home cookin'.
One of my favorite things is to listen to him play the piano. We've been working on a duet or two. He works out at the YMCA daily - usually one of us is going anyway. He's already been to a few activities with the local YSA's. We're looking forward to attending the temple and going on a few hikes. Sleeping in until 6:00 around here is a pleasure for him since he's up at 3:30 am for his job. He's thinking about getting a different job - don't blame him!
We love you MICHAEL!
