The last quarter of the year has been so wonderful
with family visiting here in Georgia.
After our 2 weeks in Utah
Juston and Maddy and Wendy flew home with us.
It was Wendy's first time to Georgia!
Then in November Lorie was gifted a "get away"
(thanks Mason)
and she chose to come to Georgia as well.
Funny thing though -
without the grandchildren
we really didn't take any pictures.
Boo hoo!
Well, there is one, which you'll see in another post.
She was here on my birthday which made it extra special!
Just before Lorie flew out
Bryon's family arrived - they overlapped for a day.
They were here during Thanksgiving week.
That was a blast.
Now for real boo-hooing
Karon's family and Michael were to arrive this last weekend
on the same flight and we were ready!!!!!
But, their flight was cancelled, yes cancelled.
And to make it worse, they wouldn't rebook them for 5 days.
Well that doesn't work when your trip is only 6 days to begin with.
So we have no Brad and Karon and 4 precious grandchildren!
They should be here right now.
It's been a tough week.
I've always said that unfulfilled expectations can be the hardest.
It's true.
The next day I packaged up their Christmas presents
from under the tree and sent them off.
We miss them so much!
They're planning another trip but it won't be for months.
Michael's trip was 2 and a half weeks so he is still coming!
He arrives Friday night and they better not cancel that one!
However, on the way home from the airport in Utah
after his flight was cancelled,
a lady ran a red light and hit him.
Fortunately he is fine.
By the time this happened he should have been in Georgia - grrrr.
The car is not fine.
That car is 20 years old and has 360,000 miles on it.
The airbags deployed and Michael was safe.
That's a reason for rejoicing!
Hopefully we can keep that car - it's been a good one.
Little WENDY visits Grandpa and Grandma in Georgia
On the flight to Georgia!
Honestly, Ron is so happy when he has
little grandchildren here!
She met the Beardsley twins.
Not sure which one this is? Ha! Remi or Milo?
Emma and Jessa came over for a visit!
Maddie Mills Goldie with Xander live close by.
Juston and Maddy served in the same mission.
We had several campfires.
The Wallace's and Beardsley's joined us on this one.
Again, another twin but I'm not sure which one.
A little swimming trip to the YMCA
where Juston spent years life guarding.
She was FANTASTIC in the water!
DISC GOLF was a hit with this family!
Wendy was a champ in the stroller!
When Juston and Maddy got back home they got their own
disc golf equipment and kept the tradition going!
Someone threw the disc high into the tree.
Fortunately Ron found this broken branch close by to retrieve it!

Wendy loved all the attention from all the adults!
Great Grandma Buttle and Wendy
Wendy was very interested in her buttons!
Another campfire... with smore's!
We absolutely adore Maddy!!!!!!
Trampoline time with daddy
on the very trampoline Juston grew up with.
These are very, very happy memories!
Thanks for coming and come again, often!
