Perhaps a new tradition has
started in our family…
Sending yearly greetings in
the month of February.
We’ll have to wait for
future years to unfold
And see if this tradition
really does take hold!
There are 19 of us and we’re
happy to announce…
The children have grown and
the adults haven’t gained an ounce. (Ha!)
The oldest is fifty-nine and
the youngest is one
Any time we are together,
there is so much fun!
Ron and Karie’s home is twenty one years old
They are fixing it up, you
may have been told…
New flooring, oven, paint,
bookshelves too.
Trust us when we say, “there
is much more to do!”
Brad and Karon and the kids visited here for 10 days
While their house was being
sold 2,000 miles away.
We visited Atlanta and Navarre
Beach too.
Making memories to last
forever, that’s what we do!
The May's in Downtown Atlanta!
In their new home, The May’s
have quite the view.
This picture is taken from
their back porch, it’s true.
Utah Lake in Orem, Utah
Beautiful Ashlyn is in 2nd, Carter is in K

On our front porch you can
see 2 handsome grandsons.
Tyler is now 4 and
Blake is now 1.
With Bryon and Kari they were
here for 10 whole days.
It was grandparent heaven in
so many ways.
Tyler
and Blake with their Atlanta hats rockin’ in Georgia!
Bryon
and Kari and Tyler and Blake Cheney hiking in Georgia!
Lorie and Mason were in Baltimore last summer
So we paid them a visit,
traffic was the only bummer.
Annapolis, Gettysburg , Fort
McHenry, DC
And Camden Yard, all done in
a week!
The Wood’s sent
Barbeque Street food to Baltimore to share!!!!!
Our tag-a-longs were baby Clive and King
Who were very good sports
about everything.
Back in Utah now to recruit
some more
If you want to sell pest
control, knock on their door!
Mason,
Lorie, King and Clive Warr
After three and a half years of being away
Michael came to GA for a very
pleasant stay.
It was Thanksgiving week -
he worked hard and played
Oh how we wish he could have
stayed.
But a few weeks later we
were in Utah with him
He creates music for
commercials on a whim.
Playing many instruments are
skills he has gained
While taking music classes
and being trained.
Every time we go to Utah,
our favorite Rexburg couple
Travels down to see us and
we like to date, double.
They stay for a few days,
once it was five.
We’re so thankful they are
willing to make the long drive.
Maddy got her associates at BYU-I,
Works full-time at Broulim’s
where good deals she spies.
Juston
takes
computer classes and whenever he can
Works as a web designer -
he’s their man.
Maddie
and Juston Cheney in the Tabernacle on Temple Square!
So to recap highlights in
2014
Here’s a month by month
accounting.
On January 30th
Clive Warr made it on the scene
And we all got together for
his beautiful blessing.
In April the May’s to Georgia came.
In May the Bryon Cheney’s
did the same.
In July Ron and I to Utah
did fly
Just to see everybody –
that’s the reason why.
Then off to San Diego Ron
and I went
For his family reunion, the
time was well spent.
We visited the new Mormon
Battalion Museum
And the temple with Uncle
Keith, good to see him!
In August we took a lovely
drive to Baltimore
To see Michael, and of
course, the Warr’s.
There is a lot of history
around that place
And we packed in the
sight-seeing like it was a race!
On September 13th
Ashlyn May was baptized
What a day. She’s a
granddaughter, prized!
Then Ron and I babysat the
May’s for 8 days
While their devoted parents
got away.
Taking care of children 8,
6, 4 and almost 1
Was a lot of work and a lot
of fun.
We said to each other, “How
did we use to do it?”
Always followed with – “It
was all worth it!!!!!!”
Michael had a week off from
school in November
So he came to Georgia, a
time to remember!
The Wilding’s from Texas
drove into town.
Cousins flocked in from all
around!
In December we flew to Utah
again
To celebrate Christmas with
our clan.
We made gingerbread houses
while we were there,
Had a live nativity, visited
Temple Square!
4 times to Utah, Juston and
Maddy did the same!
We think it’s time to start
a new game…
Put a zip-line between our
favorite cities
So we can visit each other
whenever we please!
Grandma Sally is still with
us, GREAT!
Ron is doing well in Real
Estate.
He also fixes everything
here, you know.
Karie serves in the temple
and teaches piano.
Planning another get
together in the west
Cuz our kids are there and
they’re the best!
Ron turns 60 in a month or
two
Create more memories, that’s
what we’ll do!
…and Happy 2015 to YOU!
All bundled up
on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, UT
All our love
From the Georgian Cheney’s
