A Little Bit of Heaven

Ron and I just spent 9 days in heaven,
visiting family!
Just look...
...our 5 grandchildren playing

and eating popsicles
with Grandma and Grandpa!

Here they are  - a little closer!
 Ashlyn M

 Audrie M

 Carter M

 King W

Tyler C

As Ron and I were sitting on the couch watching all these beautiful people interact, our hearts swelled with happiness.  We love them so much!
Grandma Buttle's dining room with the munchkin table just around the corner...
Yum, yum, yum!

We were all together on Father's Day!
Delicious cake made by Kari with the help of Ashlyn's decoration.  We love these men!

We had a lovely idea - spend a day with each family.
Monday was Bryon and Kari's day
We went with Tyler to the park before lunch.
Here he is all ready with his backpack and hat!

He was looking for fish
and mommy helped him!

After Tyler's nap we went to Thanksgiving Point Gardens for a picnic and walk around the beautiful gardens.

They have an area with sculptured highlights from the
life of Jesus Christ.  Ron has always loved the story
of Jesus walking on water.

Adorable Tyler boy with the
man-made waterfall in the background.
Tyler is a very fast runner and fantastic talker!

Tuesday was Brad and Karon's day!
We went to two different parks and checked out some houses too - always fun for the Real Estate man (Ron).

 Karon and Brad

Ashlyn rides her bike sooooooo well!

Carter is a pro on the scooter!

And Audrie immitates her siblings well.
Look at her graceful style! She did superb!

Of course we walked along side and enjoyed every little
"look at me" comment!

The 2nd park had ducks and we fed them!

Wednesday was Mason and Lorie's day!
 Mason and Lorie Ann

And look at this happy boy, King!
We met Mason on his lunch hour and then had a picnic and hike in Provo Canyon.  No surprise that each family planned a picnic/hike/park day - just our style!
 Grandpa helps King get ready!

A perfect fellow at the restaurant.
Love that double crown!
He may be a double clown too - time will tell!

 Whee!

Mason, Lorie and King

We fit in several of the "Parade of Homes" while there.  Here is evidence - I like these children's rooms.
The paint colors are so fun!
And the little cubbies under the roof line are a dream from my childhood.

The cork board is a great idea!

The timing of this trip was planned around a Hancock family reunion (Ron's side) in Bryce Canyon.
We had never been - we loved having Michael with us.
Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of our
outing with Darrin and Jen and the boys in Cedar City!

We only had a short time to hike a few of the 50 miles in the canyon!  Wow - it is gorgeous!

 My man!

 Michael!

Ron's cousins, neice, nephew, sister and more!

And of course George and Ellen, Colleen, Jerry T, Jessica L.
Lots of talking time - more heaven!

Just a few more pics for good measure...
It's pretty fun having Grandpa around.
He is SUPER helpful too!

A beautiful afternoon at Grandma Buttle's
She was a wonderful hostess, as usual!

Uncle Michael shows Tyler some piano style - Ty looks good!

Grandma and the kiddos used every single Duplo to make this creation!

I think this picture of King looks so much like his daddy!

Yes, we were in heaven.
Life is good!
