Announcing the engagement of
Bryon Cheney and Kari Johnson!
(oh, what a surprise - ha)
It's official! Of course, he's asked Kari about every other day but yesterday he presented her with the ring. The date is probably May 2nd in a temple in Utah.
For those of you who don't know Kari...
- From Sandy, Utah
- 7th of 9 children
- From a wonderful family we've had the pleasure to met and have dinner with
- Same major as Bryon - nutritional science (exact title escapes me)
- Her name is Norwegian so it's pronounced Car - e, so we can distinguish between her name and mine
- Absolutely wonderful person who we welcome into our family with open arms
Bryon and Kari have known each other since fall semester 07 and have been dating since January 08 at BYU. Kari has been with us at all the family events of late in Utah - Lorie and Mason's wedding, Carter's birth. She and Bryon go over to Brad and Karon's all the time and also to visit my mom in Provo. We all love her!!! Bryon has also had the privilege of meeting all of her family and been part of many of their family events!

And they are flying here on Christmas Eve and will spend 11 wonderful days with us!!!!
